Terms and Conditions
Effective September 29, 2026
1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using AI Patient Guide ("AI Patient Guide," "we," "us"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. If you use it on behalf of someone else, such as a person you care for, you confirm you have the right to do so.
2. Not medical advice
AI Patient Guide helps you organize your health information and understand medical language. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace your doctor or other qualified health professionals.
Always ask your doctor about questions regarding a medical condition, and never ignore or delay professional advice because of something you read here. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number right away.
3. Information and explanations may be incomplete
Information in the service comes from what you enter, documents you upload, and records you choose to connect. It may be incomplete, out of date or contain errors. Any explanations or summaries, including ones produced with the help of artificial intelligence, can be wrong or miss important context. Check anything important with your care team before acting on it.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your password and two-factor authentication device secure, and not share your account. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
5. Your information
You keep ownership of the health information and documents you add. You give us permission to store, process and display that information only as needed to provide the service to you and to people you choose to share it with.
We do not sell your health information. We use security measures such as encryption, access controls and required two-factor authentication, but no system is perfectly secure. Only add information you are allowed to share, and don't upload information about other people without their permission.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service. For example, don't try to access other people's records or accounts, interfere with or overload the service, upload harmful code, use it for anything unlawful, or copy or resell it.
7. Features in development
Some features may be marked as previews, "not available yet," or as using test data. They may change or be removed and may not work as expected. Test data is fictional and is not about you.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available, but it may sometimes be unavailable or change. We may update, suspend or discontinue features. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using the service at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, AI Patient Guide is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on information in the service. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date above, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the service. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
